If you haven’t tried this vegan apple cake, I can really recommend this while the winter apples are still in season
* 2 cups of flour
* 1 cup of sugar
* 1 teaspoon of baking powder
* 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
* 2 teaspoons of cardamom
* 3 tablespoons of plant butter, melted
* 1,5 cup of plant milk
* 2 apples in season
* 2 handfuls of almonds (70g.)
Preheat the oven at 175°C (350°F) hot air.
In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, cardamom, and melted butter. Add the plant milk and whisk together. Add chopped almonds and chopped apples. Add in a round baking tray covered with baking paper. Decorate with apple slices on top and bake for 50 min. Serve with powdered sugar on top.
