New Vegan Meatballs. My best recipe for a meat-free dinner, using black beans, seasonings, and simple wholesome ingredients.
* 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds
* 7 tablespoons of water
* 1 cup of oats
* 2 cans of black beans, cooked (450g.)
* 2 tablespoons of oil
* 2 tablespoons of tomato puree, ca. 70g.
* 3 cloves of garlic
* 1/2 onion
* 2 tablespoons of Paprika
* 2 tablespoons of cumin
* 1/2 tablespoon of Chili
* 1 tablespoon of flour
* Salt and pepper
* Oil for frying
Mix flaxseeds with water and set aside.
In a blender or mixer add oats, cooked black beans, oil. Tomato puree, garlic, paprika, cumin, and chili. Transfer into a bowl and add the flaxseeds + flour. Mix with your hands until sticky and combined. Cover your hands with some oil and form all the dough into meatballs.
Fry them on a pan in oil or bake them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) hot air in 15 mins.
